While I One Hundred Percent agree that the Hunger Games casting call was the product of a racist society and was bullshit of the first order, I’m forty nine minutes into Winters Bone and have to admit that I totally understand why they would have cast Jennifer Lawrence. It’s the same role, just in a different universe.
